Overview
Indonesia is Southeast Asia's largest digital commerce market and one of the fastest-growing in the region. With a large population and still-growing online buyer penetration, Indonesia represents one of the largest new-consumer acquisition opportunities globally.
The payment landscape is wallet-led: digital wallets and A2A transfers together account for the vast majority of e-commerce value, while credit cards represent a small fraction of volume. A card-only strategy is effectively a non-starter here — growth depends on wallet and A2A orchestration.
