Overview
Thailand is Southeast Asia's second-largest digital commerce market. The market has notably high digital payment adoption, yet digital buyer penetration remains moderate, suggesting a large base of digitally-capable consumers not yet purchasing online.
Thailand's payment ecosystem runs on two dominant rails: A2A transfers (led by PromptPay, Thailand's national instant payment infrastructure) and digital wallets, which together represent the majority of e-commerce value. Credit cards account for a small and declining share of transactions — making local payment orchestration essential for any merchant seeking real conversion in this market.
Available payment methods
Thailand supports the following payment methods through EBANX. For detailed integration guides, select a payment method from the sidebar or visit the API Operability page.
