With customer authentication required only during the initial setup, the risk of fraudulent chargebacks is significantly minimized.
Step by step
- 1The customer subscribes to a recurring service or product on the merchant’s website.
- 2The merchant sends the initial payment request to EBANX.
- 3EBANX forwards the payment request to the Digital Wallet.
- 4The Digital Wallet authenticates the customer and processes the initial payment.
- 5EBANX confirms the successful payment to the merchant and sets up the recurring schedule.
- 6For subsequent payments, EBANX automatically sends the scheduled payment requests to the Digital Wallet.
- 7The Digital Wallet processes the payments and confirms them with EBANX.
- 8EBANX notifies the merchant of each successful recurring payment.
