This walkthrough applies only if you're selling to Brazil and using our transparent checkout through the app extension. If you don't meet both of these conditions, please contact sales.engineering@ebanx.com for support with setting up your Facebook Pixel. Alternatively, if you're selling to Brazil but haven’t installed the app yet, please refer to the Transparent Checkout section of this documentation.
Facebook Ads
Follow the steps below.
Set up your Pixel ID
In your Shopify admin, navigate to Online Store and select Preferences.
In the Facebook Pixel section, paste your Pixel ID.
Scroll down and click Save to apply the changes.
Request and setup the additional script
Send an email to sales.engineering@ebanx.com requesting your Facebook Pixel additional script.
Once you receive it, follow these steps:
- In your Shopify admin, go to Settings and select Checkout.
- Scroll down to the Order processing section.
- Paste the code into the Additional scripts field.
- Click Save to finalize the setup.
Setup the custom conversion
In your Facebook Ads Manager, Create a Custom Conversion for the "VoucherGenerate" event sent by our transparent checkout. This conversion will track how many customers choose to pay by cash and generate a payment voucher.
- According to Facebook, metrics from custom events may not be reliable for campaign optimization or lookalike audiences. EBANX is not responsible for campaign investments or their outcomes.
Next, go to your Campaigns dashboard and follow these steps to Customize Columns in Ads Manager, adding your new custom conversion to your view for easy tracking.

You have succesfully integrated Facebook ads.
To gain visibility into the actual conversion rates for cash payments, you’ll need to create and upload offline event data to your Facebook Ads Manager. You may also find it helpful to review Shopify’s guide on Exporting Orders to a CSV file and Facebook’s instructions on Formatting Customer Lists.
Note: When Facebook’s Server-Side API becomes public, this step will no longer be necessary, and we’ll automatically send your cash payment conversions directly to Ads Manager.
If you’re not using Transparent Checkout, simply register your Pixel ID in Shopify and send an email with your Pixel ID to sales.engineering@ebanx.com.
Google analytics
Follow the steps below.
Set up your UA-ID
In your Shopify admin, navigate to Online Store and select Preferences.
In the Google Analytics section, paste your UA-ID.
Scroll down and click Save to apply the changes.
Set up your goals and funnels
In your Google Analytics account, set up goals and funnels to capture the "VoucherGenerate" event sent from Shopify’s thank you page.
- This event will track the conversion rate of customers who chose to pay by cash and generated a payment voucher.
Track your events on Google Analytics
When a cash payment is paid and confirmed, an event named "PurchaseComplete" will be sent to your Google Analytics account. This event provides visibility into your cash payment’s actual conversion rates. For more details About Events, refer to Google’s help center.
